Barrier 4: Lack of Information

As strange as it may seem, lack of basic information about the stakeholder organization is often a significant barrier. Team members simply do not know much about what the other group does and, more importantly, how it functions. This lack of information often leads to false assumptions about their work and impatience with their work practices.

Teams need information about their stakeholder's:

•  Goals. It is difficult to collaborate with anyone unless you can see how your goals might be aligned with theirs.
