Purpose

The Project Management Institute's (PMI^®) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK^®) Guide is universally recognized and accepted as the project management methodology standard and provides the guiding principles on which this methodology is based. These modern project management practices have been adapted to create a unique methodology to guide the global management of projects in a consistent and reliable manner.
