Learning Community Roles

The learning community members and their supporting network have clearly defined roles.

Participants, who are at the center of the network, are the members of the learning community. They are a group whose problem solving, learning, and actions are supported by members of the other groups within the network. The supporting network includes the following:

Senior leaders serve as business sponsors, ensuring that the work of the community is focused and aligned with the business strategy. They support the participants by providing the necessary financial support and by endorsing outcomes and actions. They also may serve as facilitators, guest speakers, and as members of the steering team.
