The 0 to 10RM Matrix (figure 1.4 on page 10) is the centrepiece of 0 to 10 Relationship Management. It presents 11 relationship types on the horizontal axis within three segments (vendor, supplier and partner), and 11 performance levels on the vertical axis. Within the matrix there are the two relationship anchor points — the current state and desired future state — and the ‘how to’ plan to bridge the gap between the two.
