Deploying the Workflow and Activities

We now have a fully functioning development workflow, and we need to deploy it to a staging environment. It would be nice to think we could go directly to production, but there’s a bit more testing that would need to occur before that happens.

To get our hard work deployed to another system, we need to perform a few tasks:

  • Clean up the name of our workflow and associated feature.

  • Create a WSS Solution Package (WSP).

  • Create a short set of instructions to install the WSP.
