4 - Appraisal Draft

When the appraisal moves into the “4 - Appraisal Draft” stage, the appraiser will receive an email message indicating that the face-to-face meeting needs to be scheduled with the employee, as shown in Figure 8.14. Kevin would print out the appraisal document, meet with Thomas to review the comments and scores for each of the goals, and then allow Thomas to add comments of his own. In a typical scenario, this stage might take roughly a week, but for testing purposes, we will expedite the process. Instead of printing out the document and scheduling a meeting, Kevin will just give Thomas write access to the appraisal, thus allowing Thomas to add comments directly to the document.
