The end-to-end process kicks off with Kevin, who will start the Office Word 2007 document template at the beginning of the appraisal period. Kevin will identify the employee, appraiser, appraisal period start and end dates, and a tentative appraisal date, which may change as we near the end of the appraisal period. In addition, Kevin lists one or more goals for the employee, with each goal having a description, metric, and weight. The sum of the goal weight values should equal 1.
