In this section, we will discuss some important Android BLE classes and interfaces in API level 24 (made for Android Nougat 7.0). These classes and interfaces are essential for BLE development in Android as they give a way to access Bluetooth LE hardware efficiently. The main tasks like scanning, connecting, implementing the GATT client and GATT server roles and transferring data are achieved through these classes. We assume that the reader knows the basics of Android development. Nevertheless, we will still explain things in the fairly understandable way to allow beginners to catch up the pace.
