About the Authors

Ted Pattison graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in physics in 1985. After working for four years as a professional sound engineer in Los Angeles, he enrolled in the graduate program at the University of California at Irvine where he received an M.B.A. degree in 1990.

Ted embarked on his career as a software developer and educator when he joined QuickStart Technologies in 1990. In his time at QuickStart, Ted wrote several LAN-based business solutions using Visual Basic and SQL Server. He also authored and taught developer-oriented training courses.
