Acme’s Marketing and Human Resources departments are demanding more servers for their operations. Both departments complain that the current IT budget allocated to them is inadequate to run operations like campaigns, recruitment, and so forth. IT has no idea what the current usage of computing resources is by these respective groups, though IT is aware that both groups run Oracle 10g Database on Solaris.
