In previous chapters, you modified your hosts file, turned off the firewall on member servers, created a domain controller, created a domain in the process, created member servers of that domain, configured Active Directory, created some OUs, created a security group, changed the domain admin account, and created a DNS reverse lookup zone and a few DNS records.

In this chapter, you’ll create a group policy object that will be linked to the OU where the SharePoint servers reside. You’re also going to create another GPO for the SQL server.
