About the Author

Douglas Alger is a team lead and project manager for the Cisco Data Center Infrastructure Team, where he designs, supports, and manages the company's worldwide Data Centers. He has participated in more than fifty major Data Center design and construction projects and possess more than eight years' experience working in Data Centers of various sizes, functions, and infrastructure. He deals first-hand with the space, electrical, cooling, and other infrastructure challenges facing these critical environments.
