Water Cooling

Compared to the traditional air-cooling approach we used in this book, water cooling offers a more effective and possibly less noisy approach to reducing heat buildup in your awesome PC. The concept behind water cooling is straightforward, taking its inspiration from a car radiator. An electric pump circulates cool water (or another heat-dissipating liquid) that flows through tubing connected to areas of heat buildup. These are most often the CPU and GPU. As the cooled liquid passes over these hot parts, the heat is transferred by convection and carried away as the water recirculates over a radiator.
