Wrap-Up
Installing a graphics card and connecting it to a monitor was pretty easy. Connecting speakers to our motherboard’s audio I/O ports was even easier. In the next chapter we’ll attach the easiest yet most important devices in a modern computer. Without a mouse and keyboard, we won’t get very far on the BIOS configuration screen that we see when we turn on the computer for the first time.
In addition to considering which mouse and keyboard to use with our PC, we’ll take a brief look at some additional peripherals in the next chapter. These enhancements may not be essential to operating our PC, but they sure will make using the PC an even more awesome experience!
