Wrap-Up

Congratulations! You have just completed the first step of building your very own awesome PC! You also know what to look for when shopping for your own PC case and power supply. The importance of a clean, static-electricity-free work area also cannot be overstated. It will make your PC-building space much easier to move around, it’ll be easier to organize your hardware, and it’ll be less stressful.

In the next chapter we’ll mount the CPU to the motherboard and the motherboard to the PC case. Then we will connect the case’s front-panel wiring and the PSU’s power cables to the motherboard. See you there!
