STUDYING WHO WE ARE

Bring Work to Life focuses on white-collar professional work. Not because it’s the only work or the most important work, but because it is what I know. It’s the people and data to which I have access. During my PhD program, there was a student who sported extensive tattoos. What was his subject of study? It was the sociological reasons for body art. He studied who he was and what he knew. We’re all like that. We’re studying who we are. As a working wife and mother with a penchant for learning, working, and family, I study work-life issues.
