Understanding psychological problems

At least a quarter of us will suffer some kind of psychological problem. It is normal for us to experience problems in the way our minds function, just as it is normal for us to experience difficulties with the way our bodies work. The design of our bodies is not perfect and problem free, and nor is the design of our minds. Many thinkers, such as Freud, believe that emotional suffering is part of being human.
