A little tip if you feel like your writing isn’t working, even after all this stuff, and particularly if it seems to be taking a long time to get to the point, is to take a fresh look at the order of what you’re writing. Right back at the beginning of this book, I was talking about this order of things in your writing. Sometimes, when you get to the end of it all, and you still feel your writing’s a bit flat, it might be that a final tweak of the order is all you need.
