Inï¬uence (noun)
The ability to persuade another to accept willingly a predetermined
outcome, action, view point or attitude from that which they
originally held, by potency of argument rather than employing overt
or covert pressure.
When we attempt to inï¬uence a person or a group, we make a
deliberate attempt to change, to shape, to reinforce or alter the
views of others.
