Chapter 1. Introduction: Case Studies and Details
The goal of this book is to help you better understand the juncture between computer technology and people, the process of creating that technology, and the evolution of those innovations. It does this through the use of essays and annotated case studies of people using technologies such as cell phones, blogs, and personal computer productivity tools. This book takes advantage of writings and recordings I have made over the past ten years as source material from which we can learn.
