Understand Video Formats
You should consider a few issues before you get started for the afternoon. Video format decisions are important in your video library because the type of format you choose determines the video file type for the resulting video when you use the Import Video command. You can import video from a videotape in one of two ways: as a Windows Media Video (WMV) file or as the default format from your digital video (DV) device.
Table 8-1 offers some items to consider when choosing a video format.
