The Start Menu and Instant Search
The new Start menu in Windows Vista looks and acts a little differently than the Start menu in earlier Microsoft operating systems. Sure, you still have immediate access to your documents, pictures, music, network, and Control Panel, but you’ll see a few new items listed too. The new Start menu contains a link to your very own personal folder with your name on it and another for quick access to games.
What’s really special is the new way to access programs, accessories, and system tools.
