Chapter 2. Working with the Time Tracker Application
Throughout this book, the capabilities of AIR are explored and demonstrated through an open-source time tracking application known as dpTimeTracker. This chapter instructs you how to download both the source code as well as the installer for the application, how to import the downloaded code into Flex Builder, and how to get started with your explorations of the content.
Getting Started with dpTimeTracker
This application lets a user track the time they spend working on projects for various clients, and allows for numerous ways to enter new clients and projects to be tracked. It can be used to export timesheets for use by third-party invoicing and billing applications.
