Abstract

Open-source software communities have needs beyond developers. For those who are inclined toward other activities but still would like to contribute, taking on tasks such as testing, documentation, and project management are great ways to help an open-source project. Beyond supporting the project, the activities provide you a way to build a range of skills, as well as network in an area that you are interested in.
