Getting paid

It is time to talk about money. Some people are squeamish about this. Either they accept whatever money they are offered or they ask for very little, for fear of being too expensive. Others are completely unrealistic and ask for more than the job is worth. Once you understand the market value of what you are doing, you can either accept it or find a way of adding more value that people are prepared to pay for. Sometimes it only takes a change of approach – or a change of customer – to earn a lot more from essentially the same activity.
