JBuilder Web Services Toolkit

Borland developed the Web services toolkit for JBuilder 7 Enterprise to provide the productivity enhancements expected by JBuilder developers. The Web Services Toolkit packages the Apache Axis distribution along with several wizards that make JBuilder the most productive environment for building Web services.

With the Web Services Toolkit, it’s possible to perform the following actions inside JBuilder:

  • Import a WSDL document to build a test client for a Web service that you’ve found through the UDDI registry.

  • Build a SOAP server to act as the base for your Web services.

  • Expose a simple Java class as a Web service.

  • Expose an EJB Session Bean as a Web service.
