The Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) revolutionized the way in which you—and in fact most companies—share information. The reason for such a large and fast change is that HTML is not platform-dependent; sharing information now is as trivial as using a word processor to print a document. In addition, HTML is simple. It contains a limited number of tags, and, when you understand those, creating a document in HTML is straightforward.
