Summary

Deploying an application requires an archive file to be created first. This archive is made up of class files, resources, and other files required by the application. Next, the archive must be copied to the target computer. Finally, the runtime environment must be properly set. Remember that archives may contain just source files. Archives may also be created to contain resources for internationalization or documentation only.
