After creating an application in JBuilder, you are now ready to deploy your project. JBuilder uses an archive node within your project to maintain the settings and deployment properties. We will take a look at the steps required to deploy an existing application. These steps will be similar regardless of the application. To demonstrate the use of the Archive Builder, we will create an archive node within the JBuilder Welcome Project and deploy it.

Either open an existing project or choose Help, Welcome Project from the menu.

Now it is time to create an archive node. Either select Wizards, Archive Builder, or select File, New Build tab, Archive Builder from the menu.
