Summary

JBuilder provides tools that enable you to visually design user interfaces without having to visualize what the interface will look like from code. The visual design tools, such as the Screen Designer, are two-way tools. When you write code, it is interpreted visually; when you design visually, it generates code.

Reflections

  • Should I hand code or use the designer?

  • What happens if I change the code? Can I go back to the designer?

  • Can I mix hand coding with the use of designers?
