Summary

In this chapter, we looked at the JBuilder IDE. One of the keys to using any IDE effectively is to learn the commonly used options, their purpose, and their shortcuts. In JBuilder, the Project Properties, the Object Gallery, and the menu items in the File menu are often the most commonly used options. With JBuilder, it is also comforting to know that there are no smoke and mirrors. The source code is pure Java, the documentation is pure HTML, and even the project file is human-readable.
