This recipe is easy, although it involves quite a few steps. After the unavoidable preparations in steps 1 and 2, in step 3 we created the actual Jekyll serverless blog by running the jekyll new recipe1 --blank command. The command in plain English, could be read as something like this: "Create a new Jekyll blog system in a new folder called recipe 1, but do not install all the regular Jekyll blog assets; rather, just create a barebones installation, so that we can add our own custom implementation".
