How to do it...

  1. On Visual Studio's main menu, click on File > New > Project, then choose ASP.NET Core Web Application (.NET Core), as shown in the following screenshot:

  1. A new window will pop up with Empty project preselected. Click on the Web Application icon, then click on the OK button to create your project.
  2. Verify the currently installed version of Bootstrap in the Solution Explorer, by searching for it. Using the shortcut keys of Ctrl + ; will bring the Solution Explorer's search bar into focus. Type bootstrap, and you will get two sets of results--the first one lists Bootstrap ...
