Reclaiming Control From the LVM

It is sometimes necessary to remove boot disks from Solstice DiskSuite control or even remove Solstice DiskSuite software entirely from the configuration. This may be necessary because of a redeployment of the system, a change in volume management strategies, or because the volume manager or OS needs to be upgraded and it cannot be done with the current version of the volume manager.
