Recovering From Replica Failures

As discussed in “ Monitoring Replicas ” on page 142, you can monitor replicas using a variety of methods. When a damaged replica is detected, it is important that you replace it promptly, since Solstice DiskSuite software will not work if too few metaDBs are available. For Solstice DiskSuite software to work, at least three metaDBs must be configured. In most cases, more than three are used. Regardless of the number of metaDBs, more than half of them must be available for Solstice DiskSuite software to work correctly.
