This chapter provides an overview of monitoring, maintaining, and administering a boot disk with VERITAS Volume Manager (VxVM). The example configuration follows the suggestions in Chapter 5 “ Configuring a Boot Disk With VERITAS Volume Manager,“and elsewhere in the book, but the suggestions and procedures described here are applicable in many VxVM configurations.
