HITTING FULL THROTTLE

Once a jet has lifted off the ground, it goes to maximum thrust. This is where the pilot (that's you) has to give it all she's got, because the aim is to reach cruising altitude. At the ideal altitude, the thrust-to-weight ratio decreases. The jet will then be flying faster, far faster than it was on the ground, while burning less fuel.

In fact, at the plane's cruising altitude, during a flight that covers, say, 1,000 miles, less fuel is consumed than during the first few miles while ascending due to something called progressive consumption. Think of this part of the Book Yourself Solid system as progressive marketing.

In Module Three you're still ascending, but you need that final push to get to cruising altitude where you level off and then it's smooth sailing from there. So, see if you have the capacity to push the throttle forward just a bit more. You may feel as if you're going pretty fast, but you're not nearly at the redline yet.
