Once you have your hardware and software for capturing images and getting them onto the web, it’s time to decide where those images are going to go. For a photo blogger, this means you’ll have to choose a blog software, known as a content management system (CMS).

Your CMS will allow you to pick (and switch) themes, colors, fonts, and layouts to allow you to build a creative and individualistic website. When it comes to creating posts, you’ll use the CMS to upload your photos and add text to accompany them, from simple captions to thorough explanations of technique.
