It tries to solve the inefficiencies of local food distribution and the accessibility of local food markets. Foodshed is a platform that can connect farmers and buyers within a 250-mile/400-kilometer radius, as shown in the following diagram, making it easier for small farmers to sell food/fresh produce and for buyers to get cheaper food/fresh produce.
