Hyperledger Fabric is a blockchain framework implementation—a combination of digital ledger technology (DLT) and a Smart Contract Engine. It was first created by IBM and Digital Asset, and then open sourced in 2016 under the Hyperledger project, hosted by the Linux Foundation.
