Managing Animation at the Project Level
At this point, you should have a master scene file that contains links to all of your rough sets, props, and characters. It will also hold properly named cameras and markers for all of your shots. It’s time to get organized (again).
Figure 9.1 shows a spreadsheet with rows representing each shot in the production and columns that show different production milestones and various bits of information.
As much as the story reel is your bible when it comes to timing and shot construction, this document will become your ever-present guide during the long and arduous animation and rendering phases of the project.
