Creating animations for the intro

We have all the necessary graphics in place with textures, which gives us all we need to start making animations. The animation process here will work in a very similar way to what we did in Chapter 4, Animated Properties for Video Effects. You should add a keyframe to a property in at least two different moments in time.

From the difference between those keyframes, Blender will interpolate the intermediate values for that property to make an animation.

Here is a list of all animations we must create for the project:

  • Channel title: Slide in the scene from the left and stop at the center
  • Logo: Scale up from zero to the actual size
