Creating the scene

The first step to doing our project is to create a new file in Blender, using either Ctrl + N or File | New. Pick the General option from the menu that will appear.

Erase the default Blender cube and set the camera in orthogonal mode, viewing the project from the top, exactly like we did in the previous chapter.

From that camera setup, we can start adding the visual elements of the scene. Using the Shift + A keys, create all the necessary text objects and set them with Paris and Berlin as text content.

The method to align two 3D text objects in a project will require you to create the first text object. For the second text object, you can use a Ctrl + D to duplicate and move the new text in the Y-axis.
