Preparing Blender for animation

Until this point, we made all the designs for our projects using only the Video Sequencer Editor, and it worked great for our purposes. But if you want to use the full power of Blender, we must also use the 3D Editor and it's capabilities.

With that in mind, we must prepare Blender to create all the necessary elements to make our intro video.

Start a new project in Blender or press the Ctrl + N keys to create a new file and choose General from the options.

If you have an actual project in Blender that you don't want to lose, you can always use the File menu to save the project before starting a new one.

Once you get to the Blender default screen, we can start preparing the project.
