Getting the Application That Will Keep You Informed
Book VI, Chapter 1 introduces the different sites that you can use to browse to find the applications you are looking for. This chapter provides information on several types of applications that you can find in BlackBerry App World or other mobile sites under categories such as Work & School, Business, and Music & Audio. Just as with any other application, you have two main options to get these applications on your BlackBerry smartphone:
Use BlackBerry App World, an application that helps you find, acquire, and manage other applications for your BlackBerry smartphone. (Book VI, Chapter 1 tells you how to get and use BlackBerry App World.)
Browse a mobile Web site from your BlackBerry or computer. Book VI, Chapter 1 provides a list of sites that you can view from your BlackBerry or computer that you can use to download these types of applications.
