What is the Turning Point?

The turning point is a single moment that determines the success of either a martial arts tournament or a negotiation. It is that instant when you become aware of a definite change in direction; the contest is now heading to the end. Turning points raise the stakes, move the action in a different direction or to a different playing area, and force the parties to take a new approach.
