This chapter introduced you to BizTalk messaging. The items covered in this chapter are fundamental to building robust applications with BizTalk Server. This chapter covered the creation of several organizations as well as how to add document definitions and envelopes to the Messaging Manager. The chapter also discussed how to configure a messaging port to route data to an application or organization. We discussed building a channel to get data from a source application (or organization), transforming it into the necessary format, and passing it to the correct port. Finally, you learned how to pull all these components together using a simple ASP page.
