Dr P. Mariappan, is Associate Professor of Mathematics at Bishop Heber College, Tiruchirappalli. He pursued his postgraduate degree in Applied Mathematics with specialization in Decision Sciences from the same college and holds a Ph.D. degree in Applied Mathematics, for his research on Manpower Flow Models, from Bharathidasan University.
