About the Author

Ken Vos, PhD, graduated from the University of Alberta. He has been at the University of Lethbridge since the mid-1990s teaching everything from general interest physics courses about physics and society to introductory level undergraduate physics courses and graduate level physics courses. He won the distinguished teaching award from the University of Lethbridge in 2008 and has been actively involved in outreach with the local school systems. He is passionate about spreading the joy of biophysics. He enjoys all areas of physics from the abstract to the applied. He has done research in the areas of biophysics, condensed matter physics, and mathematical physics.
