11. One-Touch UpBets & DownBets

11.0 Introduction

Examples of ‘one-touch’ bets are:

1. Will the Sep/Mar Eurodollar spread ever trade 20 ticks or more apart?

2. Will WTI oil trade up to $150 or more by the end of next year?

3. Will WTI oil trade down to $100 by the end of next June?

4. Will the price of the September US 10 year Notes futures rise to trade at or higher than $118?

The event, i.e. oil trading at $150 or higher only needs to happen once, for a split second, and the bet immediately becomes a winner or loser (no ‘dead-heats’).
